We are a candle-making studio focused on creating memorable experiences. The concept for starting True 2 You LLC was centered around my background in education, candles, and making special memories.
Our candle-making experience studio offers workshops, classes, parties, fundraisers, and studio rentals. Our services are available onsite and mobile.
Our product experiences online and onsite for our (wicked and wickless) candles and wax melts, wholesale and white label partnerships that are great for retail stores, corporate, fundraising events, weddings, and more.
Meet The Team
Leslie Neal, Founder/CEO
Leslie Neal is the Founder of True 2 You LLC and is known for her creative ideas and for showing others how to have their own. With over 20 years working in K-12 education, state government, and higher education, she has extensive experience in teaching and leadership.
Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Leslie has always been a lover of the arts and has family ties within the art community. A passion since youth has been her ability to create and innovate new things. After moving to Michigan and working in state government, Neal owned a fine art gallery before the economy crashed in 2008, which forced her to close the gallery and go back into higher education. During this time, Leslie continued to soothe her soul and passion, making candles and jewelry as a hobby.
After years of working higher education, the desire to create continued to burn into her soul, itching to come out in some form. Taking a partial leap, she created True 2 You Candle Studios in Canton, Michigan, in 2020 right before the pandemic. As it turns out, the pandemic allowed Neal to focus on a business plan to start operating part-time, custom-making candles to sell online and wholesale. As doors began to reopen, Leslie created the Fragrance Blend Bar to give others the experience of candle making.
Leslie’s purpose with True 2 You is to create an experience that others will cherish.

With wholesale options, fundraisers, and her own candle lines, memories can be made through giving to others as well.
Her Bachelor’s in Psychology, Masters in Education, and career in these fields have truly prepared her to jump freely into her passion.

With over 20 years in Law Enforcement, Neal has years of experience in compliance and attention to detail. When his wife Leslie created True 2 You LLC, he knew his knowledge in these areas would help with the small business.

Leslie loves having young people around her, and having two young daughters, she feels compelled to have family around her. Kelsey is a creative with a keen sense of detail, perfect to review the overall image of the business.
“Anything that shows creativity I gravitate towards. Being able to give input on merchandise, the look of our website, and content planning allows me to use my creativity to help build our family business.”
